I recently moved to Cottage Grove and this is such a hidden gem! I've visited twice and (with others in my group) tried the two breakfast sandwiches, both are stellar. The bacon was nice and crispy. They had a carnitas skillet special on my last visit and that was also excellent. My daughter's berry pancakes were the best I've tasted at a restaurant in a long time - just the right amount of vanilla, slightly sugary, and the berries were perfectly ripe and sweet. Coffee and smoothies are good, too. Outdoor seating is very pretty. Don't sleep on this place if you're in the area, or make a special trip and then hike the Glacial Drumlin trail (right behind the parking lot)!

Great house blend coffee. Lovely/friendly baristas. Beautiful open space. lot's of natural light. Downside: Too loud! Like many coffee shops, too many hard surfaces reflecting every sound. People like the looks of exposed brick and wood floors but to me they cancel themselves out. Put some acoustic canceling materials in there also.

Great destination for a bike ride. My wife and I rode on the Glaciel Drumlin bike trail and were happy to find this as our lunch stop. Excellent roast beef sandwich (lots of meat). The servers were great. Updated: 3 years later, still riding my bicycle and stopped in here during the COVID restrictions and it is still a great place. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. Indoors they have every other table unavailable and the servers are super attentive to cleaning and being clean. Food is still wonderful.

My husband and I are vegan and we were nervous about not being able to find anything, but the staff was so accommodating and the food we got was good!

Great food and service. Biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and skillets were all great! Will definitely return!
